One of my most favorite photoshoots of this year was for A Better Source, an online directory for graphic and designers and business owners to learn about more sustainable ways to manufacture packaged goods. I’ve been interested in the zero waste, and circular economy movement for some time now so I couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with JJ Wright, the mastermind behind this project. The directory is not just a one-stop shop to find alternate ways to produce goods, but also full of education on what materials are and are not sustainable. Read more here.

Graphic design duo Mia Carameros and Kelsey Stewart have opened up shop and their work is beautiful! It was a pleasure to make portfolio images for their new website, Marris Walker. Check out their latest work here.
Had so much fun with this still life shoot. Playing with props, mirrors, and fruit. The assignment, document the graphic identity packages of Mattie’s Austin, designed by FODA studio.

This might be my new favorite coffeeshop! Tucked inside the South Congress Hotel, Mañana feels like walking into modern European Cafe in the middle of Texas. I also like how it feels so serene, away from the hustle and bustle even though it’s located on South Congress. Make sure to stop by if you’re ever walking by.
Photographed for FÖDA Studio.
I’m so excited to take a road trip to back my favorite area West Texas to photograph landscapes and attend my first photography retreat, Yeah Field Trip taking place at the end of this month. I’ve taken courses and went to meetups but never a full blown photography retreat! I’m ready to meet other creatives like me and learn! Here are some images I’ve taken in the past in Marfa.
Here’s a feature I photographed for Chairish. As a minimalist at heart, it was so fun to peek inside a self-proclaimed maximalist’s at home. I’m scared of stacking art on top of each other or lining up sculptures along one table but Courtney Madden makes designing her home effortless! It made me rethink my bare aesthetic. This is by far one of the most interesting homes I photographed in 2018.
Courtney sells her vintage and antique finds online. Check out more of her finds here.
My dear friend Becca Baughman lives in one of my favorite homes in Austin. It’s artistic, clean, full of plants, and art. My kinda home!
I had the opportunity to road trip all around Los Angeles, California and capture everyday moments of beauty for West~Bourne Cafe. I saw city life, the beaches, the mountains, architecture, and food. What a fun way to hide behind a camera and discover one of my favorite cities. You can see these images and more on their instagram.
Le Politique, a new French bistro has opened in downtown Austin. I had the opportunity to photograph their cute little Parisian style patisserie next door for FÖDA Studio.
Look at this absolutely charming casita I photographed for fellow photographer Andrea Turner. It's pretty unusual for me to love every nook and cranny of a home but I was impressed, down to the art in the bathroom. I wouldn't mind having a weekend gettaway here.
I am absolutely obsessed with this historic Hyde Park renovation I shot last week. I fell in love the tiles, the rugs, and the way interior design Liz Macphail mixed black and white together. Swoon!
Got to photograph this gorgeous kitchen remodel in South Austin for interior designer Sarah Stacey. I love Sarah's style so it's always a treat to see what kind have transformations she has up her sleeves at each shoot.
I spent a couple of days photographing the work of Emily Press of Emerald and Laurel for her portfolio. We used the branding session to capture a "day in the life" of Emily at work! It was great to see her in action. Here are a few photos from the shoot. If you are a creative in need of a branding facelift, I'm your gal. Check out my branding photography page here.
I'm hired more for interiors these days but I love love LOVE food photography. Here's a shoot from Vivo Austin one of my favorite tex-mex spots in Austin.
I had the pleasure of photographing a little Kasita for their website. I already live in a pretty small home but I'm pretty sure I can easily downsize if my tiny house looked like this. Want your Kasita? Take a look here.
I got to shoot my favorite coffee shop this weekend. Figure 8 Coffee Purveyors is located right around the corner from my house and has quickly become my second living room. If I'm not shooting you can find me editing my life away there :). Started by Ryan Hall and Kathleen Carmichael, this cute shop reflects all the charm of East Austin. I'm too sensitive to drink coffee but apparently it's amazing. Though I'm the sucker drinking earl grey tea in the corner, I'm still lucky to have this space as my little office away from home.
